SCRIPTFRENZY POSTER AND MUSINGS

Below is the poster I drew for ScriptFrenzy 2008.  My screenplay is called THE MANUFACTURED WOMAN, which I think has a nice mysterious ring to it.

The ScriptFrenzy madness begins on April 1st.  It will be interesting for me to see if I can complete my manuscript this time, since April is one of my busiest months at work.  Last year, ScriptFrenzy was held in June, which was much easier for me.

Oh well, I’m fastening my seatbelt and ready for take-off!  :)

SCRIPTFRENZY SCREENPLAY TRAILERS AND BECOMING UNSLUGGISH

Well, the madness is about to begin.  I’ve already done two ScriptFrenzy screenplay trailers and will likely do another one before it’s all over (at the end of April) if I can figure out how to shoot and edit a video using my digital camera.  I know how to shoot it; it’s the editing part that has me befuddled.  I guess it’s the childhood blonde in me coming out.  :)

On a different note, in an earlier post I moaned and groaned about being slug-like and out of shape.

I’m happy to say that I’ve been working hard to change all that.  I’m now walking several times a week and also lifting handweights a couple of times a week.  That’s a slow start, but I can already tell some difference in my energy level and I’ve lost a little weight, too.  Yipee!  A slug no more…  :)

SKETCH FOR ILLUSTRATION

UNTITLED

Here’s a rough sketch of an illustration that I’m planning for my recently-written children’s story.  The finished drawing will be more detailed and better drawn (I hope), but this is just a beginning.  I plan to fully illustrate the story and see if I can get it published in a children’s magazine.  You never know unless you try.
