I’m having one of those blue days today, so I drew “Field of Flowers” to try to cheer myself up. It didn’t work too well, but hey, at least I tried.
Sometimes life is really hard, especially when you agonize over things that you don’t have any control over.
Well, let me just pull out my Faithful Old Mantra, “Everything will be okay, everything will be okay, everything will be…”
I’ve started drawing again on a regular basis and I’m so pleased about that. Every time I draw something, I learn from my mistakes and I hope to get better as time goes on. Even if I don’t, though, it’s such a pleasure to lose myself in the process and to see the finished product. I’ve included my two most recent pieces of artwork here.
“Fruit Bowl” is done in oil pastels and “Flowers in a Vase” is done in watercolor pencil.
